The City of Ottawa is committed to working with residents and businesses to reduce our community greenhouse gas emissions by 20% by 2012. We are currently at 5% above 1990 levels and believe that an innovative tool like the Zerofootprint calculator can motivate our citizens to calculate their carbon footprint and adopt the suggested ways to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
